I include a small list of 5 movies that truly inspired me. All those movies have something interesting that makes it worth watching.

Jobs (2013)

This movie is based on the story of Steve Jobs. It shows how Steve Jobs started Apple after dropping out of college. And started building the first Apple computer with Steve Wozniak. Then, it reveals how Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak got their first investment and built an empire. We, as spectators, can feel the difficulties they have been through along the way. And I think the movie clearly highlight how building a company got it’s ups and downs.

The Social Network (2010)

This movie is based on the true story of Mark Zuckerberg and the start of Facebook. It starts when Mark was studying at Harward and he started a project called CourseMatch. CourseMatch gave students the possibility to compare other students based on a picture taken from Harward database. After being judged for his acts from Harward, Mark got popular and interested other people to build something as a team. From there we kinda all know the story but it still worth watching it. The movie starts from how Facebook got started to the point where they grew to a million active users.

The Founder (2016)

This is the most recent movie of the list, after watching it in the cinema I think it is interesting to include it in the list. In fact, the movie is based on the true story of Ray Kroc. At the beginning, this man was working for Prince Castle as a traveling salesman. He was selling milkshake makers. But one day, he was looking at selling one of those machines to a shop called McDonald. The shop was revolutionary at that time because it allowed the restaurant to serve clients in less than 30 secs. Ray loved the idea and decided to create a somehow partnership with them to expand their business. The movie shows how McDonald grew to what it is now a multinational company.

The pursuit of happiness (2006)

This movie is a little older as it has been recorded in 2006. However, it is, in my opinion, a great movie that includes interesting quotes about life. The movie shows an unemployed man struggling to pay to bills after trying to sell portable bone density scanners. Even though he succeeded to sell most of the machines, he was unable to cover all expenses and started to have issues with his wife. Then, because he was unable to pay, he became homeless and was desperately looking for a job. But then, he got an internship in a call center as a salesman and did everything he could to prove the company of his assets.

Wall Street (1987)

This movie is the oldest of all in the list but it has some great element that makes it one of the best movies. This movie, unlike the other movies, tells a story about a broker called Bud Fox. Bud is working as a junior stockbroker in New York City at Jackson Steinem & Co. The movie shows how that broker tries to get the right contacts in order to make a faster career move. Moreover, he tries to get the right information to make the biggest commissions in order to get a promotion.
