After analyzing these facts, we can conclude that the job market nowadays is not as attracting as it used to be. This situation not only applies in the United States but in most countries in the world. So in order to improve our quality of life, we can think of 3 alternatives:
From Patrick’s perspective, the only way to be wealthy and to succeed is to become an entrepreneur. The other alternatives are less advantageous than it used to be. In fact, US companies used to provide social security for employees. But, this has recently changed since companies found out that they did not need to offer that in their job packages because of the increase in job demand.
In fact, social security was created and set to 65 years old because most people do not survive after 65 years old. That way, the Government knew they would not have to pay back what people have contributed.

Most people get inspired by entrepreneurs but fear stops them from becoming one. For example, they fear:
The lifespan of happiness is extended if created by natural things. Other substitutes that simulate happiness, such as, drugs, alcohol… will only work for a very short term. Patrick believes that Boredom is the seed of laziness. The more action there is in your life, the more you create, the more energy you produce and the happier you become. On the other hand, the less you create, the less energy you produce, and as a matter of fact, the sadder you become.
